A shared allocation record helps teams understand the accounts under consideration without treating them as interchangeable. Use an internal reference for each LinkedIn account, then record the intended audience, responsible reviewer and agreed limitations.
Keep credentials and sensitive personal information out of that working document. The purpose is to connect account decisions with the approved scope, not create an unrestricted directory of account access.
Separate shared and individual requirements
A marketing brief may set the same language or industry criteria for several accounts. Individual LinkedIn account records should still capture differences in history, available evidence and approved use. This makes exceptions visible before they affect delivery.
Resolve exceptions before allocation
If a proposed LinkedIn account does not meet an essential requirement, flag it for review. Ask whether the provider can suggest a suitable alternative or revise the quantity. Avoid silently substituting unrelated accounts merely to match the original total.
Record who approved any change and why. Teams managing several clients should also confirm which accounts belong within which engagement, so reporting and responsibilities remain clear.
Review capacity with your team
Before increasing LinkedIn activity, assess who can handle questions, review content and evaluate responses. Additional accounts may create administrative work even when the commercial arrangement is straightforward.
For example, an agency assessing two markets should describe the purpose of the accounts in each market rather than divide them evenly by default. The right allocation follows audience relevance and the team’s ability to manage the agreed work. Revisit those assumptions when the campaign objective changes.
A bulk request often starts with a marketing target: more visibility, broader market coverage or better organised activity. But adding accounts does not automatically create relevant connections. Define the audience and explain what each LinkedIn account would contribute.
